AKAARI was founded by sisters-in-law Priyanka and Monika, brought together by a shared belief that fine jewellery should feel personal, honest, and quietly luxurious.
What began as a mutual appreciation for thoughtful design evolved into a brand rooted in sincerity, emotion, and conscious craftsmanship. AKAARI was envisioned as a space where modern luxury feels warm and human where jewellery carries intention and is designed to be worn, lived in, and cherished.

We create fine jewellery using laboratory-grown diamonds chosen for their brilliance, integrity, and complete transparency. Identical in structure to natural diamonds, they allow us to offer exceptional quality without hidden costs or compromise.

THE FOUNDERS
Monika – Co-Founder | Creative Director, India
Monika’s journey toward AKAARI began with a lifelong affinity for design and a desire for transparency in luxury. After spending 19 years abroad and working with two of the Big Four consulting firms, she returned to India in 2023 seeking a more intentional, creative life.
During her years in the U.S., a defining experience reshaped her view of fine jewellery. After purchasing natural diamond jewellery, she later discovered laboratory-grown diamonds identical in structure, brilliance, and beauty. The realisation that consumers often pay significantly more for something visually indistinguishable sparked a deep need for honesty and clarity.
This moment became a foundational seed of AKAARI. Monika set out to build a brand anchored in transparency, craftsmanship, and design excellence offering jewellery she would proudly wear herself, and nothing less.
As CEO in India, Monika leads AKAARI’s creative vision, design development, and overall aesthetic direction, ensuring every piece reflects emotion, elegance, and quiet sophistication.
Priyanka – Co-Founder | CEO, USA
For Priyanka, jewellery has always been a keeper of memories and meaning. After years in consulting, she was drawn to laboratory-grown diamonds for their transparency, innovation, and ethical clarity values that aligned with her belief that luxury should feel honest and accessible.
As CEO in the USA, she leads brand strategy, partnerships, and creative direction, bringing a strong sense of storytelling to AKAARI. Her approach ensures each piece feels expressive, intimate, and timeless jewellery that holds meaning beyond aesthetics.
